Sasha Zubritskaya (b. 1994), based in St. Petersburg. Her artistic practice addresses affective levels of access, desire, and self-territorialisation. She works with a variety of media, including prints, installations, objects, video, and writing, often assembling her works into nonlinear displays and ramifying narratives. She holds a bachelor degree in textile arts from St. Petersburg State University. She is involved in running the local queer-feminist library FemInfoteka. Since 2017, she has been collaborating with the North-7 art group. Her solo shows took place at FFTN (St. Petersburg, 2018), Start (Winzavod, Moscow, 2019), Navicula Artis (St. Petersburg, 2019), and Eine Kleine Kunsthalle (St. Petersburg, 2019). She participated in group shows in artist-run and museum spaces in Russia, Europe and USA. Her works can be found in the collection of M HKA, Antwerp, and private collections in Russia and abroad.
